The Red Carpet Event And The Diamonds: Oscar Award 2014

Both are inseparable. For celebrities the Oscar Award event is probably the most important and thrilling one, while for the viewers apart from discovering who the oscar holder is it's a chance to see the dazzling shine of exquisite attire and jewelry. Diamond jewelry is just the one to underline the moment. It's no surprise everybody's eyes were fixed on what the stars wore and ours, too.

Classic combination dominated on the carpet: white gold and diamonds. The main accent was made on earrings, rings and bracelets, necklaces were scarce. Harry Winston's fine jewelry was a number one choice. Jessica Chastain opted for vintage earrings dated 1969 and a diamond & gold bracelet. The earrings were encrusted with 10 carats of tear-crystal diamonds while the bracelet featured 24 ct of diamonds.

Charlize Theron in her perfectly tailored white costume also chose Harry Winston's fine jewelry: she had a vintage 1959 'Cluster' bracelet, a vintage 1959 diamond lattice bracelet totaling 58.07ct, a diamond marquise lattice bracelet, emerald-cut studs and marquise-cut diamond cluster ring. All are colorless diamonds set in platinum to add even more glam to her dainty look.

 An Oscar holder Sandra Bullock is also in the list of Harry Winston's diamonds' fans. She wore an amazing diamond dove cluster brooch on her hair, lovely diamond studs and tree diamond rings. They are colorless diamonds set in platinum. 

 There are also Adele, Kate Capshaw and Olivia Munn that wanted nothing but Harry Winston's diamonds. Adele had a diamond ring and a pair of cluster diamond earrings;

 Kate Capshaw wore impressive Qipao necklace, diamond earrings and a bracelet.

 Olivia Munn is the only among the above-mentioned who decided on colored diamonds: yellow diamond earrings and sunflower diamond bracelet.

Van Cleef & Arpels diamonds also stole the show. Renee Zellweger decided to make a final touch to her golden dress with the help of rubies and diamond. She had a diamond & ruby double fan clip set in platinum and diamond & ruby cuff bracelet (177 rubies and 118 diamonds) set in yellow gold and platinum from the Heritage Collection.

 Allison Williams, the “Girls” star, gave preference to “Laureen” earrings from the 744 Fifth Collection of Van Cleef & Arpels; to a butterfly between-the finger ring from the Two Butterfly Collection and a diamond ring.  

When performing her hit song “Skyfall” Adele changed her dress and jewelry. This time she wore Van Cleef & Arpels set of jewelry: a pair of earrings and a diamond band ring.

It would take hours to describe the beauty of diamond jewelry on the Red Carpet, to point to the effect it produced, to the limelight it reflected. We've mentioned only two most preferred high jewelry producers while there were many of them: Chopard, Louis Vuitton, Stephen Webster, Forevermark and others offering countless number of jewels.
