Luxurious diamond-encrusted turban – specially for Elizabeth Taylor

A rumor went among local scandalmongers that legendary Elizabeth Taylor is going to marry again. To make her ninth wedding unusual a known actress will wear $3 million worth diamond-encrusted turban.

Keith Holman is the designer of Taylor's crown. He worked with experienced gem designer Christian Tse and a group of artists to create an elegant hat. Made of silver and gold fabrics a turban is adorned with three huge diamonds: two round canary diamonds of 40 carats in size and a central stone of 30 carats in size. This very designer, who also created stage costumes for Michael Jackson, is also sewing a wedding dress for Elizabeth Taylor. Actually, it will be not a usual wedding dress but an extravagant kaftan to suit her awesome headwear.

Elizabeth Taylor is known for her love to diamonds. Being a real woman, she has always been obsessed with fine jewelry. She knows much about the stones and on her dressing table one can find very impressive specimens which are a part of her extensive collection. Among her most famous jewels is the Krupp diamond (33.19 carats) and 69.42 - carat pear shaped Cartier diamond presented by Richard Burton, a famous American actor and one of her husbands. Taylor collects only diamond rings and pendants with large-sized gems. It is known that Van Cleef & Arpels created jewelry specially for Taylor.
