How To Alter Your 'Flat Pancake' Style? Wear Diamonds, Like Princess Charlene Did!

Those following all the news in the world of fashion should know Cathy Horyn, a fashion journalist, the author of provocative blog “On The Runway” and the critic of The New York Times. Horyn seems to correspond with her position the best way possible as she never hesitates to be straightforward speaking about anyone, especially celebrities.

The newly-crowned Princess Charlene of Monaco became the bone of contention this time. Even despite the fact that she earned the spot in 2011 International Best-Dressed List, Horyn found Princess Charlene's style to be 'flat pancake'. Just like trying to prove the contrary of that statement, or simply following her own taste and style, the Princess looked stunning wearing luxury dress and amazing diamond necklace at 63rd Red Cross Ball in Monte Carlo, where she was the host alongside her husband Prince Albert.

Charlene wore strapless gown of saturated fuchsia color and complimented it with a custom-made Van Cleef & Arpels necklace. The jewel is made from 88 round diamonds and 10 pear-shaped diamonds. The rest 359 gems are sapphires, which make those curls look like waves of the ocean. The necklace as well as the gown is amazing making Princess's style look far from 'flat pancake'. She seems to equal the hopes of Karl Lagerfeld, who lately claimed Charlene would be a style icon. What do you think?
